Biblical Worldview Writing Prompts
One of the most important commandments God gives parents {and grandparents} in Scripture is to instruct the next generation to walk in the ways of the Lord. See Deuteronomy 6 and Psalm 78:4 just to name a couple. Also read Judges 2:10-11 to see what can happen when a generation doesn’t pass on the truth of God to the next generation.
A huge part of this is helping our kids develop a Biblical worldview. This is intentional teaching done as you walk along the way or as you sit down and read and work.
Teaching our kids to have a Biblical worldview goes beyond teaching them the events and people of the Bible. Knowing the events and people in the Bible is important, mind you, but we must also teach and model HOW and WHY God’s Word matters today.
When “the rubber meets the road” in our everyday lives, God’s Word has MUCH to say about how we should think and how we should live! When a person has a Biblical worldview, they seek to funnel topics, issues, and information through the truth of God’s Word.
In other words, a person with a Biblical worldview asks, “What does the Bible say about this?”

If you want to help develop a Biblical worldview with your kids, I highly recommend the practical book by Dr. Josh Mulvihill, Biblical Worldview.
