Episode 11: The First Three Covenants of the Bible
Both Amy and I thought it would be helpful to walk you through seven covenants of the Bible, beginning in Genesis.
We’ve already talked about the Mosaic Covenant quite a bit in a couple of our episodes.

The images and/or links below will take you to our previous episodes related to the Mosaic Covenant.
- Episode 5: Moses Bible Reading Plan
- Episode 7: What is the Bible?
- Episode 8: The Ultimate Purpose of the OT Law
- Episode 9: Does the Old Testament Apply Today?
Understanding these covenants helps us to see how God’s Word is connected as one Story.
It also allows us to see the attributes of God. In these covenants, we see His faithfulness, goodness, love, righteousness, and justice and how they all fit perfectly together.
Lastly, these covenants help us to see how God wants a relationship with you and me. He doesn’t need us, but that’s what makes His love towards us even more significant!
In this podcast series, beginning today, we plan to help you understand these covenants of the Bible:
- Pre-Fall or Edenic Covenant ~ Episode 11 {this episode}
- Post-Fall or Adamic Covenant ~ Episode 11 {this episode}
- Noahic Covenant ~ Episode 11 {this episode}
- Abrahamic Covenant
- Mosaic Covenant
- Davidic Covenant
- The New Covenant

Let’s be determined as Ezra: to read, do and tell the Word of the Lord!
