Social media has allowed even more people to have platforms and influence. Often, someone else is called a heretic simply because they believe something that you disagrees with. This is NOT the definition of a heretic!
But not all teachings that differ related to Christianity are heretical in nature.

- essential teachings in the Christian faith
- non-essential teachings of the Christian faith
- true heresy that is against God or the pure gospel as revealed in Scripture
