Have fun with this quick-paced Bible game for the Old Testament. The crazy thing is knowing the real answers makes this more challenging!
The goal of the game is to answer the Old Testament questions incorrectly as quickly as you can. Warning: May cause uncontrollable laughter.
Old Testament Answer it Wrong Game
Before play, print and cut apart the cards. Shuffle them and place them face down. If you’re playing with a large group of kids, let them take turns answering as you read the cards. If it’s a smaller group {like at the dinner table}, take turns drawing a card and reading it for the person to your left to answer (incorrectly, of course).
When we played, we laid these ground rules:
- The answer must be given within a second or two.
- The answer must be within the same category as the real answer. For example, if I ask, “What color is a banana?”, the answer must be a color. “Purple” or “green” would be an acceptable answer. “Snowman” or “paper” would not be acceptable acceptable answers.
When you’re finished with the game, go back and see how quickly you can CORRECTLY answer all the questions! Answering them correctly is made more challenging at the end because you’ve told your brain NOT to say the correct answer the entire game. 🙂
